Relays
A relay is an electric instrument which is sometimes called as the electric switch that is used to open and close the circuit. The electric relay is responsible for the flow of the current from one circuit to another circuit. The electromagnet is used in order to open and close the flow of the current from the different devices. The relay was invented by the scientist Joseph Henry in the year 1835. The relay is used in the high voltage equipment to control the input and output circuits which are necessary for the proper functioning of the electronic equipments so the electrical relays are very common device which is used today. The operation of the relay is very simple it just use the electromagnet in order to mechanical movement of the of the circuit contacts so that the current can flow through it. The mechanical movement is used in order to smooth flow of the current and to stop the flow of current when it is needed.
